Here’s the latest episode of ON THE LOOSE, this time it’s my trip to the DR over the World Cup Comp in June earlier this year.

So I finally made it to Cabarete, I was picked up by Susi and crew, stopped by my apartment and then headed down to La Boca to chill and go for a little session.
I just got my new pre-production Wakestyle board for final testing, so I was pretty keen to hit the water and give that a go. It was well good to have a session in board shorts, flat water and in boots again.
Hopefully there will be a bit more wind for the coming days so I can get back out on the water and get some new video footage.

Arriving back home on monday I started to make my plan for the next few months, I was planning to check out the DR one last time this year and whilst looking at flights a good one came up the following day.
My new Wakestyle board just arrived into the office so it seemed perfect timing, I got involved and got the flight, picked up my boards and headed to the airport. I will have some pics of it up soon.

Whilst on our final day up in Hunstanton I got to show the boys at Hunstanton Watersports the new kit and even had a chance to get out on the water for a quick session.
Over the weekend I checked out the finals of the BKSA and got the kites out on the beach before driving home and stopping at MK Wake in Milton Keynes for a cable session.
The guys from S2AS were doing a board demo so I popped in to check it out. It’s a real high cable so it was fun to do some corner tricks again, they also had some sweet sliders including a new Rainbow rail so it was well worth the stop off.

Since our sick session at Greatstone with S2AS it was back home and down to Lancing where we would again be demoing some kit with the boys from the shop, kiteworld came down to hang out and take some pics, check out the small article on their website, also keep an eye out for the next issue where there will be a cool interview about the products, my last year and the things I have been up to since my departure from the World Cup.
On Monday we took a trip to King of Watersport, Tuesday was down to Exmouth to see EDGE, where I got to see the young ripper Tom Bridge kain some sick low mobes and front blind mobes in next to no wind, def one to watch out for in the future, he really reminds me of when I was young.
Yesterday we were in Bristol at Bristol Kite Store, we hung out here for the day and managed to make it onto BBC Radio Bristol, before heading up to Loughborough and seeing Air Boss World. They have a pretty cool set up, the shop is situated on an old air field and right next to a race track, that was pretty tempting to take Vanzee on a little burn around it but though I should probably preserve my 20′s so that I could make it to our next stop in Hunstanton tomorrow (15th, 11-3pm).
