After the event in New Cal I stayed for an extra week or so, the conditions continued to provide although it wasn’t the usual pattern according to the locals.

Yesterday was the best trick contest, the criteria was 50% height and 50% technical difficulty.

Yesterday was the double elimination of the freestyle competition here in New Caledonia.
The wind was light but I was OK on my 13m, I came up against Seb Garet in the final but only had to go once as I had a pretty good heat, because of the flat water all my tricks were [...]
This place is amazing, the last few days have been great kiting, the spot for the competition is perfect flat water with smooth wind which allows you to go full belt into tricks.
