Perth
I arrived in Perth from CT on the 16th for a Flexifoil demo tour of Oz along with Team Manager Jason who is always a good laugh. I had been there before for a month at the end of 04 but I was looking forward to coming back.
On our first day the wind was on, after visiting a few shops and settling in we hit Woodman’s Point which is probably one of the better freestyle spots in WA.
I had also just received my new kites, The Hadlow Pro Model, so that was pretty exciting, they look sick and I couldn’t be happier with them.
The session was pretty epic, the kites were amazing and there was a good group of people down at the beach trying some kites and getting involved on the water.
It was cool to shoot with Toby Bromwich and also get the chance to work with Andy Gordon who both followed us on the rest of our trip whilst there.
The next day was not so windy but on the following day we headed down to Margaret River to check some spots in the area and try to ride main break, unfortunately the wind was a different direction and not so strong so we had to wait until the following day to get some action.
Next morning we were up and out early, at first there was a major downpour but it soon cleared up to be an epic day, it was still on shore but blowing mental, I took a 7 and did a few moves but mainly had fun with MegaLoops and Hooked Mega Loops - HP.
Later we headed back up to Perth but on the way stop at a river about a hour South of the city. It was a crazy spot that had dead flat water but not because it was sheltered but because there was so much seaweed in the water.
It was practically mirror flat and also shallow, we managed to get some great pictures and footage from the water and I had a pretty decent session for my 7m.
After that we headed up to Perth then flew out the next morning, now I am in Melbourne to check out a few shops, chill for a bit and get ready to drive up to the Mambo event which sounds like it’s going to be fun.
Lets see how it goes.
Ohhh and you can click on the pic’s to enlarge

Is that the 2008 fusion or Aaron hadlow pro model kite ?
How far up on the LE are the second attachment points for the Y-bridle of the front lines?
Will learn to read before posting next time!!!
That is the Hadlow Pro Model due to be released Feb/Mar.
I have been riding the kite this season but these are the first Pre-Production finished set I have rode.
The split is about 4m down from the kite on the leader lines.
Aaron, congratulation to your new kite, looks very good, pics are impressive. Have a good time.
kite looks amasing!
looking forward for some nice action!

When will your kite be available for Team Riders around the world?
Hey Aaron,
I was wondering about the new kites, what exactly is the purpose of the split in the leader lines? Also, is there a pulley where the lines split?
thanks
The bridal is to keep the kites shape like a 5th line with the simplicity of a 4/ done it with a load of my kites. works amazing cant imagen how good its gunna be on the production kite.
