Today was super windy but the light was really bad, I’m pretty tired out right now so decided to take the day off.
Maybe I’ll go for a quick evening session if it looks OK, but we’ll see.

Today the wind was strong again, looking out from my room in the RedBull house it must have been 6-meter weather.
After a long lay-in we headed up to Canos De Mecca which is a beach with lighter, on-shore conditions situated about 30 minutes NW of Tarifa.
We arrived to 12-meter weather which was cool, it was weird to see the wind so much lighter only 30 minutes away but it was fun to be on a bigger kite again and doing some more technical tricks.
We had another epic session and got some more great footage. Check it out !

Today we started shooting the first part of our new sick web movie shot by Tronolone Productions and involving Ruben and I.
At the moment Ruben is back home in Holland doing some stuff with his sponsors but he will be back in a few days.
So for now it’s just me and today we got to capture a sick day on my 7 meter down at the dunes by the competition site.
We got some sick footage so already it is going well, I got a MegaLoop 5 and a MegaLoops KGB with a nose grab which is only the second one I have ever done.

Today has had no wind, we woke up pretty late after a small party to celebrate yesterday, then headed down the beach to check it out. Around 4 they announced the results of the Best Big Trick, I got 1st then Ruben was 2nd, which was pretty sick, I was well stoked to win both competitions.
Today is the last day of the event but I will be here for a while filming with the Tronolones, along with Ruben we will be releasing a web movie and many updates on our journeys.

Today I had one heat in the freestyle, I came up against Kevin who had made his way back up the field. He also took Ruben down to 3rd place, I sort of feel bad for him after all the energy it took yesterday to get to the Singles Final. I know how much effort I put in and to have that taken away kind of sucked.
Anyways I done the final, it wasn’t the best heat in the world but I did the best for the conditions, I was on a 9 but it was super gusty with lows that would leave you sinking, despite that I still managed all my single handle passes and also got a KL 3 front and back-side and also a switch KGB.
Straight after was the Best Big Trick, I also advance to that final and had a good heat, I managed a front roll double pass, bit like a kung fu pass, then also I got a grabbed Front roll kung fu pass - blind.
They didn’t give the results yet but I think I did a good heat, Ruben also did a pretty big kung fu pass so maybe he got it, we will just have to wait and see tomorrow.
